Unsere Vision

Ziel der PADMUS-Aktivitäten ist die Schaffung eines Modelldorfes mit einer Grundschule, einer Sekundarschule mit Internatsbetrieb für Jungen und Mädchen, handwerklichen Lehrbetrieben für Holzbearbeitung, Bäckerei, Schneiderei, Gartenbau, Landwirtschaft, Obstverarbeitung etc., einem Bildungszentrum für Erwachsene und einer Klinik (im englischen Sprachgebrauch ist eine Klinik ein Gesundheitszentrum ohne Betten).

Hinzu kommen Wohnhäuser für die hier arbeitenden Familien, eine Farm, Gemüsegärten für den Eigenbedarf und für kommerzielle Zwecke und eine Obstplantage. Nach eher europäischem Vorbild soll es ein Ortszentrum mit einem gepflasterten Marktplatz mit Springbrunnen, Blumenbeeten, schattigen Bäumen und Bänken geben. Auch ein Gästehaus für arbeitende Besucher aus Europa und den USA (z.B. um Handwerker zu schulen) ist geplant.

Our Vision

The goal of PADMUS’s activities is to create a model village featuring a primary school, a secondary school with boarding facilities for boys and girls, vocational training workshops for woodwork, baking, tailoring, horticulture, agriculture, fruit processing, and more, as well as an adult education center and a clinic (in English usage, a “clinic” refers to a health center without inpatient beds).

Additionally, the project includes residential houses for the families working here, a farm, vegetable gardens for both personal consumption and commercial purposes, and a fruit plantation. Following a more European model, the village will also feature a central square with a paved marketplace, a fountain, flowerbeds, shady trees, and benches. A guesthouse for visiting professionals from Europe and the USA (e.g., to train craftsmen) is also planned.
